Welder - Balzers, Pakistan


We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Balzers, Pakistan. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment and techniques to join metal parts together. This is a contract job with the potential for full-time employment based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the specifications of the project
- Select appropriate welding method for each project, taking into consideration the type of metal, thickness, and required strength
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and removing any impurities before welding
- Set up welding equipment according to specifications and adjust settings as needed
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Monitor and inspect welds for quality control and make necessary repairs or adjustments as needed
- Follow all safety procedures when handling equipment and working with hot metals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder in a professional setting (minimum 2 years)
- Certification in welding from an accredited institution is preferred but not required
- Experience working with different types of metals such as steel, aluminum, and copper
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of different welding techniques including MIG, TIG, stick welding, etc.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects when necessary
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
