Head Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Lisbon. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and previous experience in a leadership role. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation and ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
- Ability to manage a team effectively, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or related certification
