Head Chef - Isa Town, Bahrain


We are in search of a creative and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Isa Town, Bahrain. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, managing a team of chefs, and ensuring the quality and consistency of our menu offerings. You should have a passion for food and a strong understanding of different cuisines and cooking techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and training when needed
- Create new menu items or modify existing ones to keep up with current trends and customer preferences
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipe specifications and presented in an attractive manner
- Monitor food inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices in the kitchen
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop strategies for increasing profitability through menu planning, cost control, etc.
- Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients, dishes, and overall service to maintain high standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavors, and cuisines
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions to staff members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of food cost control measures to ensure profitability without compromising quality
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month. Benefits such as medical insurance and paid time off may also be available.
