Merchandiser Specialist

We are searching for a detail-oriented and experienced Merchandiser Specialist to join our team in Clairvaux, France. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail merchandising and be familiar with current industry trends. This role requires excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Analyze sales data and identify trends to make informed decisions about product placement, pricing, and promotions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, purchasing, and operations to ensure a cohesive merchandising plan
- Manage inventory levels and make recommendations for reorder quantities based on sales performance
- Conduct store visits to ensure visual displays are in line with company standards
- Communicate effectively with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Train store associates on product knowledge and display techniques
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in retail merchandising or similar role
- Knowledge of retail math concepts such as gross margin, markup, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs
