Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist
As a Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing various structures such as buildings, bridges, and tunnels. You will work closely with architects, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure that projects are completed successfully and within budget. Your main focus will be on structural design and analysis using software programs such as AutoCAD and SAP2000. You may also be required to conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and analyzing structures using software programs such as AutoCAD and SAP2000
- Collaborating with architects, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure project success
- Conducting site inspections to assess construction progress and address any issues
- Providing technical support during the construction phase
- Ensuring projects comply with building codes, safety regulations, and other industry standards
- Creating detailed reports outlining design plans, calculations, and recommendations for improvement
- Managing project budgets and timelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in structural design
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SAP2000 software programs
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Effective communication skills for working with a team of professionals from various backgrounds
Salary: $1100 per month
Location: Akron, USA (Filipino nationality preferred)
