Miner (Part-time) - Mombasa, Kenya


A mining company in Mombasa, Kenya is seeking experienced miners to join our team on a part-time basis. As a miner, you will be responsible for extracting valuable resources from the earth while adhering to safety and environmental standards. This role requires physically demanding work and may involve working in confined spaces or at heights.

Responsibilities:
- Operate mining equipment and machinery to extract minerals from the earth
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or damages, and report any issues immediately
- Transport extracted materials to designated areas for processing
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Record production and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a miner in a mining or construction setting
- Knowledge of mining practices, techniques, and equipment operation
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
- Physically fit with the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this part-time position.
