Foundry Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foundry Supervisor to join our team in Eldoret. As a Foundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process in the foundry, ensuring quality standards are met and production targets are achieved. You will also be responsible for supervising and training foundry workers, maintaining equipment, and implementing safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of foundry workers to ensure smooth production process
- Train new employees on foundry processes and procedures
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the production process
- Maintain equipment and machinery in good working condition
- Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed
- Prepare reports on production output, efficiency, and any issues that arise

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in foundry work is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a foundry setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of foundry processes and equipment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Physical strength to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Eldoret but open to applicants from Canada or any English-speaking country.
