Merchandiser (Malindi, Kenya)


We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for overseeing the display and promotion of products in retail stores, ensuring that our brand is effectively represented and sales goals are met. This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that products are properly displayed and stocked in retail stores according to company standards
- Collaborate with store managers to develop effective product displays and promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding restocking needs
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines
- Train retail staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Collect and analyze sales data to identify trends and make strategic recommendations for improving sales performance
- Communicate with suppliers regarding new product launches, promotions, and other relevant information

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (additional language skills preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role as a Merchandiser or Visual Merchandiser
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with biometric passports preferred but not required
- Must be willing to relocate to Malindi, Kenya if not already based there

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.
