Baker for Indian Bakery in Washington


We are a popular Indian bakery based in Washington, seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of traditional Indian baked goods such as naan, roti, samosas, and more.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of Indian breads, pastries, and snacks according to traditional recipes
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed to ensure proper baking
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Maintain inventory of baking supplies and place orders when needed
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to develop new recipes or improve existing ones

Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a Baker in an Indian bakery or restaurant
- Knowledge of traditional Indian baking techniques and recipes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is an asset)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
