Property Damage Adjuster


As a Property Damage Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims related to property damage. Your main role will be to assess the extent of damage, determine the cause, and determine the appropriate amount of compensation to be provided. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to gather evidence and information to support your decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of property damage claims
- Determine coverage eligibility according to policy terms and conditions
- Assess the extent of damage and determine the cause
- Estimate the cost of repairs or replacement
- Negotiate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to reach a fair settlement
- Prepare detailed reports on each claim including findings and recommendations
- Keep accurate records of all communication and documentation related to each claim

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as insurance or business administration
- At least 2 years of experience in property damage adjusting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in using computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite
