Senior Architect

As a Senior Architect for our firm in Atlanta, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to develop innovative design solutions that meet their needs and budget. Your expertise in building codes, zoning regulations, and construction materials will ensure that all projects comply with legal requirements and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio showcasing their creativity and technical skills. A degree in architecture or a related field is required. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has excellent project management skills. You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and effectively communicate your ideas and designs to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously from start to finish
- Develop initial concepts and sketches based on client needs and site conditions
- Create detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure project feasibility and compliance
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Review construction plans for accuracy and compliance with building codes
- Prepare presentations for clients to showcase design options
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, materials, and technologies

Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as an architect or similar role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture or related field
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and design skills
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, construction materials, and techniques
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills both verbally and visually
