Typesetter (Contract Position) - Las Vegas, USA


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Typesetter to join our team on a contract basis in Las Vegas. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text, images, and graphics in various formats according to design specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Set and arrange text, images, and graphics according to design specifications
- Ensure layout is visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines
- Proofread content for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure project goals are met
- Make necessary revisions based on feedback from team members or clients
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Knowledge of printing processes and color management
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Experience working with biometric passport designs or similar security documents
- Fluency in English
- Experience working with international clients
- Availability for occasional night shifts
