Carpenter in Plovdiv, Bulgaria

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing various structures made of wood, ensuring they are strong, functional and visually appealing. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares or marking gauges
- Cut and shape wood pieces using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware
- Inspect structures to ensure they meet building codes and specifications
- Repair damaged frameworks or other wooden structures using hand tools or power tools
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, chisels, etc.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions

Preferred:
- Biometric passport for easy travel between India and Bulgaria (not required)
- Experience in carpentry projects involving Indian style architecture (not required)
