Excavator Operator

We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Acre. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects. Your main duties will include operating the excavator safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance on the equipment, and following project plans and specifications. You must have a valid excavator operator license and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month. Preference will be given to Canadian nationals or those with relevant work permits. Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid excavator operator license
- At least 2 years of experience as an excavator operator
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Knowledge of various excavation techniques and safety protocols
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
- Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination
- Strong communication skills in English

Responsibilities:
- Operate the excavator safely and efficiently according to project plans and specifications
- Conduct pre-operation checks on the equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Dig trenches, foundations, or other earthworks according to project requirements
- Load trucks with materials or debris using the excavator bucket
- Transport materials within the construction site using the excavator
- Follow all safety protocols while operating the equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members on-site
- Keep accurate records of daily activities
- Report any issues or malfunctions with the equipment to the supervisor
