Cashier - Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier - Customer Service Representative to join our team at our busy retail store in Jerusalem. As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities:

- Greet customers with a smile and provide excellent customer service
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Ensure pricing is accurate on all products
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is an asset
- Excellent communication skills in English (other languages are an advantage)
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Friendly demeanor with a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
