Entry-Level Petroleum Engineer
As an entry-level Petroleum Engineer, you will assist in the development and implementation of oil and gas extraction processes. Your responsibilities may include conducting research, analyzing data, designing drilling plans, and monitoring production. This is a contract position located in Lusail, Canada that requires fluency in English and a valid biometric passport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analyze data related to oil and gas extraction processes
- Design drilling plans based on geological data and engineering principles
- Monitor production and make recommendations for optimization
- Collaborate with other engineers and technical staff to develop effective solutions
- Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology, techniques, and regulations in the industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Fluency in English (French language skills are an asset)
- Valid biometric passport
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior internship or co-op experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred but not required
