Smelter Operator


The Smelter Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the smelting process, which converts raw materials into molten metal. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency and attention to detail, as well as physical strength and stamina.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control smelting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Maintain proper temperature, pressure, and flow levels in the smelting process
- Load raw materials into furnaces according to specific instructions
- Operate various machinery used in the smelting process, such as crushers, conveyors, and mixers
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the smelting process
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor data from gauges and instruments to make necessary adjustments
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or training preferred
- Proven experience working with industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
- Ability to follow strict safety protocols at all times

Job Title: Smelter Quality Control Technician


The Smelter Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all products produced by the smelting process meet quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control principles, as well as exceptional analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality checks on products at various stages of the smelting process using specialized tools and equipment
- Analyze data from quality checks to identify any discrepancies or defects in products
- Communicate with operators and other team members about any quality issues and work together to resolve them
- Maintain accurate records of quality control data and report any findings to the quality control manager
- Conduct routine maintenance on quality control equipment to ensure accurate results
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area at all times

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques
- Proficient in using specialized tools and equipment for quality control purposes
