Smelter Operator

We are seeking a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Osijek! As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment used to extract metal from ore, including furnaces and casting machines. Your main duties will include monitoring the smelting process, adjusting equipment settings as needed, and conducting routine maintenance and repairs. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment such as furnaces and casting machines
- Monitor smelting process and make adjustments as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise during the smelting process
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Keep accurate records of production and equipment maintenance
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the smelting process

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in metallurgy or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Smelter Operator
- Strong understanding of metallurgical processes and equipment used in smelting operations
- Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and able to work in a hot, noisy environment for extended periods of time
- Team player with good communication skills
