Sous Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a high-end fine dining restaurant in Washington. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee the kitchen operations and ensure that all dishes are prepared to perfection. This role requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment and be able to handle high-pressure situations with ease. Salary for this position starts at $1200 per month.
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, creating new menu items, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring timely delivery of dishes to guests. You will also be involved in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about food and constantly strives for excellence in their craft. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts is preferred but not required. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds but experience in Filipino cuisine would be an advantage.
