Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Washington, USA)



We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team at our high-end restaurant in Washington, USA. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and design authentic Indian menus that reflect the restaurant's vision and style
- Create innovative dishes while maintaining traditional flavors and techniques
- Oversee the purchasing of ingredients and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Maintain proper inventory levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Train and manage kitchen staff on proper food preparation methods and safety procedures
- Monitor the quality of dishes being served to maintain consistency
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- In-depth understanding of food cost control and inventory management
- Ability to create unique and creative menus while maintaining traditional flavors
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Strong communication skills
-ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred
