CNC Operator

We are currently hiring a skilled CNC Operator to join our growing team in Nakuru. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components for our manufacturing process. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month, with the potential for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of product
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth production
- Inspect finished products for defects or issues and make necessary corrections
- Maintain machinery by cleaning, lubricating, and performing routine maintenance checks
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery as needed
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in manufacturing industry
- Experience working with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Basic understanding of G-code programming
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect potential quality issues
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience working with HAAS machines
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
