Caregiver for Elderly in Shan, Myanmar


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly individuals in Shan, Myanmar. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication reminders. You will also provide emotional support and companionship to promote a sense of well-being for the elderly.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administering medication according to prescribed schedules
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding if necessary
- Providing companionship and emotional support to promote a sense of well-being
- Assisting with light housekeeping duties such as laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Accompanying the elderly on outings or appointments as needed
- Keeping track of medication schedules and reporting any concerns or changes in health status to medical professionals or family members

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred but not required
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy
- Physical ability to assist with daily tasks such as standing, walking, bending, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
