Mason - Construction and Repair Specialist


As a Mason in our construction and repair team, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using various materials such as brick, stone, and concrete. Your expertise in masonry techniques and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our projects. This is a contract position located in Ar-Ruwais, with a salary of 1100$.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or plans to determine the layout and materials needed for each project
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them, as well as removing any debris or damaged materials
- Mix mortar or other bonding agents according to specifications
- Lay bricks, stones, or other materials in a pattern to create walls or other structures
- Use hand tools such as trowels, levels, and chisels to shape and trim materials
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with other construction workers to complete larger projects on time

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in construction or repair work
- Knowledge of various masonry techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision in your work
- Good communication skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in Ar-Ruwais
- Preference given to Canadian nationals
- English language proficiency
