Radio Technician - Al-Rayyan, Qatar


A reputable radio station in Al-Rayyan, Qatar is seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team. We are looking for an individual with experience in radio broadcasting and strong technical skills to ensure the smooth operation of our station.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair radio broadcasting equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and broadcast automation systems
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure quality broadcasting and compliance with regulations
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide efficient solutions to keep the station running smoothly
- Assist in setting up and testing new equipment as needed
- Keep updated records of equipment repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory
- Collaborate with other team members to develop ideas for improving the quality of broadcasts
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology related to radio broadcasting

Requirements:
- Previous experience in radio broadcasting or related field preferred
- Technical diploma or degree in Electronics or relevant field
- Knowledge of FCC regulations and standards for radio broadcasting equipment
- Strong understanding of audio signal flow, studio wiring, and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience working with digital automation systems such as RCS Zetta preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1700$ per month for this position.

Location:
This is a full-time position based in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. Applicants must have valid authorization to work in Qatar.
