Blast Furnace Operator


We are seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Zagreb, Croatia. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces that produce iron and steel. This is a full-time position that requires strong technical skills and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnaces according to production schedules
- Maintain and adjust furnace controls to ensure proper temperature, pressure and flow of materials
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or abnormalities and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Monitor raw material levels and coordinate with other workers to ensure continuous operation of the furnace
- Analyze production data and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Blast Furnace Operator
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery
- Physically fit and able to work in a hot, noisy environment for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Must be fluent in English

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month, commensurate with experience.
