Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Medina, Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role and must be able to create and execute innovative menus while maintaining high quality standards. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, managing the kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment. Fluency in English is required for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute seasonal menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Manage and train kitchen staff on proper food handling procedures and techniques
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards
- Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu pricing
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Handle any issues or complaints from customers regarding food quality or service

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus that exceed customer expectations
- Strong leadership skills with ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
