Head Chef - Filipino Cuisine
We are a well-established restaurant in Medina, looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing our menu, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new dishes for our Filipino cuisine menu
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to plan menus and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Manage kitchen budget and control food costs
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu items
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a Filipino restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Filipino cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English (Tagalog is a plus)
- Must have own visa or valid working permit in Medina
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for the right candidate.
Location:
Medina, Saudi Arabia. This job is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to Filipinos.
