Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine
As a Pastry Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of traditional Indian pastries, breads, and desserts. Your main duties will include developing new recipes, overseeing the production of pastries and baked goods, and ensuring quality and consistency in all items produced. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. In addition, you will work closely with other chefs to ensure that all menu items complement each other and provide a well-rounded dining experience for our customers.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong background in Indian cuisine and a passion for creating unique and flavorful desserts. You should also be familiar with various cooking techniques used in Indian cuisine and have an eye for detail when it comes to plating and presentation. Excellent time management skills are essential as you will often be working on multiple projects at once. Additionally, you must have strong leadership skills to effectively manage your team of pastry cooks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian desserts, breads, and pastries
- Ability to create new recipes that incorporate traditional flavors while also adding unique twists
- Strong understanding of food safety standards
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of pastry cooks

- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certificate preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
Salary:
$1100 per month
