A reputable library in Atlanta, GA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Malayalam or French (Canadian) and have a passion for promoting literacy and learning within the community. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1300 per month, along with free visa and ticket provided.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, digital resources, and other materials
- Develop and implement programs and activities to engage library patrons
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide information literacy instruction
- Catalogue new materials using MARC standards
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and statistics
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and execute events and initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in library services and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- Fluency in Malayalam or French (Canadian)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well with diverse populations
- Knowledge of MARC cataloging standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
