Information Security Analyst - Akron, Ohio, USA

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting and securing our organization's sensitive information and systems. You will work closely with our team to identify potential security risks and implement measures to prevent data breaches. Your main duties will include conducting security audits, developing security policies and procedures, and providing training to our employees on best practices for information security. Additionally, you will monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cyber threats and be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Provide training to employees on information security best practices
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior
- Investigate any reported incidents or breaches
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and preventative measures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain documentation of security measures and incidents

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in information security or related field
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, encryption methods, firewalls, etc.
- Experience with risk assessment tools and techniques
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (i.e. HIPAA, PCI)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to think critically

Salary: $1500 per month. Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.
