Copywriter - Creative Content Creator (Contract Position)


We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating engaging and persuasive content for various platforms including social media, websites, blogs, and marketing materials. This role is suitable for individuals who have a passion for writing and are looking to gain experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, and compelling copy that aligns with the brand's tone and voice
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and ideas
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to ensure content is relevant and competitive
- Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Optimize content for SEO purposes
- Brainstorm new ideas for campaigns and promotions
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and implement them into copywriting strategies

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Copywriter or similar role (portfolio required)
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of SEO principles
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their respective writing styles
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field is preferred but not required

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Akron (remote work option available)
