Master Body Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Body Repair Technician to join our team in Nairobi. As a Master Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This includes assessing damage, removing damaged parts, and using specialized tools and techniques to repair or replace damaged body panels, frames, and other components. You will also be responsible for ensuring that repairs meet industry standards and quality specifications.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Body Repair Technician
- Certification or diploma in Automotive Collision Repair or related field
- Proficient in using various body repair tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair techniques, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Physical strength and stamina for working with heavy equipment and lifting car parts
- Good communication skills in English

Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of the damage
- Remove damaged parts using appropriate tools such as grinders, welders, hammers, etc.
- Straighten bent frames using frame machines or hydraulic presses
- Replace damaged body panels and components with new ones or repair them using welding techniques
- Apply body fillers, sand down surfaces, prime, paint, buff and polish repaired areas to match original finish
- Ensure repairs meet industry standards for safety, quality, durability, etc.
- Keep accurate records of work performed on each vehicle
- Communicate with customers about repairs needed or completed
