Welding Technician - Eldoret, Kenya

We are in need of a skilled Welding Technician to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Welding Technician, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques and processes to fabricate and repair metal structures and equipment. You should have experience in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, as well as the ability to read blueprints and follow safety protocols. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and precision, as well as physical stamina. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. Students with welding experience are encouraged to apply.
Salary: $1000 per month

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Valid work permit for Kenya (visa sponsorship available)
- Experience working with metal structures and equipment is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Use various welding techniques to fabricate or repair metal structures and equipment according to blueprints or instructions
- Operate welding equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect completed welds for quality assurance
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
