Junior Information Security Analyst (Contract)


We are a leading company in the field of information security, located in Faisalabad. We are currently seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This is an entry-level position, ideal for recent graduates or individuals without prior experience in the field. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will work closely with our experienced analysts and assist with various tasks such as conducting vulnerability assessments, monitoring security systems, and implementing security measures. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in the fast-growing field of information security. Compensation for this position is set at 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of our systems
- Monitor security systems for any potential threats or breaches
- Analyze security logs and reports to identify any anomalies or suspicious activities
- Work with senior analysts to develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems
- Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Passion for learning about information security

Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP
- Previous internship or job experience in information security
