Heavy Equipment Operator


We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes, to perform tasks related to construction, mining, or other industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment and a valid certification or license.

Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform daily maintenance and routine checks on equipment
• Follow project instructions and plans to complete tasks efficiently
• Load and unload materials using heavy equipment
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Report any maintenance issues or malfunctions to supervisor
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Valid certification or license for operating specific types of heavy equipment
• Ability to interpret project instructions, plans, drawings, and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations relating to operating heavy equipment
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends or overtime if needed

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this position. This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
