Interpreter for Nepali-speaking Clients in Clairvaux

As an Interpreter for our company in Clairvaux, you will be responsible for providing accurate and professional interpretation services to our Nepali-speaking clients. Your main duty will be to facilitate communication between our clients and English-speaking individuals, including doctors, lawyers, and government officials. This role is suitable for men who are fluent in both Nepali and English and have a strong cultural understanding of Nepal.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken conversations between Nepali and English accurately and in a culturally sensitive manner
- Translate written documents from Nepali to English and vice versa
- Act as a cultural mediator between clients and service providers
- Maintain confidentiality and abide by ethical standards of the interpreting profession
- Attend meetings, appointments, and other events with clients to provide interpretation support

Requirements:
- Fluent in both Nepali and English with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, legal terminology, or government procedures is preferred
- Strong cultural understanding of Nepal and its customs
- Previous experience as an interpreter or translator is an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to handle sensitive information with tact and professionalism

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This position does not require any fluency in the English language as it is primarily focused on providing interpretation services for our Nepali-speaking clients. The successful candidate will need to be available for flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary. Please note that this job does not include accommodation.
