Masonry Specialist



We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team in Sheduva, Kenya. As a Masonry Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of materials such as brick, stone, and concrete. This position requires experience in masonry work, as well as knowledge of techniques and tools used in the trade.

Responsibilities:
- Lay out plans and patterns for masonry projects
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to cut and shape bricks, stones, or other materials
- Lay bricks or stones in a specific pattern to create walls, arches, or other structures
- Apply mortar between bricks or stones to secure them in place
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones
- Ensure that structures are plumb, level, and straight
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in masonry work
- Knowledge of masonry techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:
- Biometric passport for ease of travel within Kenya
- Experience working on commercial construction projects
(e.g. schools, hospitals)
