Android Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic development team in Kaunas. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Android SDK, Java programming language, and experience with RESTful APIs and Git version control. You must have a strong eye for detail and a passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing mobile applications. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$, suitable for men with their own visa. Accommodation may be provided if needed.

As an Android Developer, your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and developing advanced mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization
- Troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to ensure smooth functioning of the application
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends in mobile app development

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Android development
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and Java programming language
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and Git version control
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with Kotlin programming language
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Familiarity with Firebase services such as Cloud Messaging, Realtime Database, etc.
- Experience working on international projects or with multicultural teams
