Junior Android Developer

As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our team of experienced developers to understand project requirements and design and implement solutions that meet those requirements. This is a contract position based in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and fix bugs in existing codebase
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Continuously research and implement new technologies to improve the overall quality of our apps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store
- Knowledge of software testing principles and practices
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN

Salary: $1800/month
