Part-Time Baker


We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods. You will also be in charge of maintaining inventory, ensuring quality and freshness of products, and adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all baked goods
- Adhere to food safety standards and maintain a clean working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to create new recipes or improve existing ones
- Train new staff on baking techniques and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and taking custom orders

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker or similar role
- Knowledge of baking techniques and measurements
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Good organizational skills to manage inventory levels and production schedules
- Strong attention to detail for quality control purposes
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Flexibility to work on weekends or early mornings if needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certificate in Baking/Pastry Arts
- Experience working in a commercial bakery
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Experience training or mentoring others

This part-time position offers competitive compensation at $1000 per month. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates.
