Long Haul Truck Driver

As a long haul truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances, typically between different cities or states. You will operate a large commercial vehicle, such as an 18-wheeler, and must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record. Your main duties will include loading and unloading cargo, planning routes, following traffic laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate logs of your trips. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on your truck and reporting any mechanical issues to your employer.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices. You must also be physically fit as the job requires sitting for extended periods of time and loading/unloading heavy cargo. Additionally, you should have good time management skills to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to all safety regulations.

This position requires flexibility as you may be required to work nights, weekends, or holidays depending on the delivery schedule. You must also be comfortable with spending long periods away from home as most long haul trips can take several days or weeks to complete.

Salary for this position is $1200 per week plus bonuses for timely deliveries. Accommodation is not provided but visa sponsorship is available for non-US citizens with appropriate qualifications. While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, we are open to applicants with at least a 12th grade education.
