Excavator Operator


We are a construction company based in Lisbon seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to dig and move earth, rocks, and other materials to help with various construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator according to safety guidelines and company policies
- Use controls and levers to maneuver the excavator in a safe and efficient manner
- Use the excavator to dig trenches, foundations, or other structures as directed by the site manager or project supervisor
- Load and unload materials from trucks using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the excavator and report any issues or malfunctions immediately
- Follow all site regulations and safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for long periods of time
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand project plans, blueprints, and other technical documents
