Indian Executive Chef in Nakuru
We are a renowned restaurant in Nakuru and we are urgently looking for a skilled Indian Executive Chef to join our team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating new menu items, managing inventory and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers. This is a part-time position with flexible working hours and no experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Create new menu items that reflect the authentic flavors of Indian cuisine
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Work closely with management to develop new strategies for improving restaurant performance
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality with a passion for cooking authentic Indian cuisine
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills
Salary:
1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
