Formwork Carpenter


As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing temporary structures used in the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures. These structures are used to support concrete until it hardens and gains enough strength to support itself. Your duties will include measuring and cutting wood pieces according to specifications, assembling formwork components using hand and power tools, pouring and leveling concrete into formwork, removing formwork after concrete has set, and repairing any damaged or worn formwork. You may also be required to assist with general carpentry tasks on the job site as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry or construction work, strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements, physical stamina for lifting and carrying heavy materials, and attention to detail for precise work. This position requires you to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at different heights.
