Welder (Khasab, Kenya)
A well-established welding company in Khasab, Kenya is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and practices, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 900$, with the potential for growth and advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various types of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
- Operate various welding equipment and tools
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding or related field
- Proficient in various types of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Welding or related field
- Experience working on large scale projects or in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to welding processes
