Entry-Level Instrument Technician


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Instrument Technician to join our team in Wiltz. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of instruments and equipment used in industrial processes. This is a contract job with an attractive salary of $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Installing new instruments and equipment according to specifications
- Troubleshooting and repairing existing instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Conducting routine maintenance on instruments to prevent breakdowns
- Calibrating instruments as needed for accurate readings
- Maintaining inventory of spare parts and ordering replacements when necessary
- Following safety protocols at all times while working with electrical and mechanical equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with instrumentation or in a related field preferred but not required
- Familiarity with process control systems
- Knowledge of PLC programming
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
