Job Title: Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Nairobi. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various electronic and mechanical instruments used in industrial processes. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various electronic and mechanical instruments.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and make necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning.
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on instruments.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on larger projects.
- Stay updated on industry developments and new technologies related to instrumentation.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
