Instrument Technician


A reputable oil and gas company in Lom is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a Malayalee with a strong understanding of instrument systems and processes, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments used in the oil and gas industry
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure accuracy and proper functioning
- Inspect instruments for defects or malfunctions and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot issues
- Work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure proper installation and functioning of instruments
- Maintain inventory of spare parts for instruments and order new parts as needed
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on instruments
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with hazardous materials

Requirements:
- Must be a Malayalee with a minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Strong understanding of instrument systems and processes
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols when working with hazardous materials
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Lom (accommodation not provided)

Contract type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
