Instrument Technician - Lom, Bulgaria


We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Lom, Bulgaria. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in the production process. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the proper functioning and accuracy of measurement instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, and flow meters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot a variety of instruments to determine the cause of malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in logs and reports
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose complex issues
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working with potentially hazardous equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role in a production or manufacturing setting
- Technical diploma or certificate in instrumentation or a related field preferred
- Experience working with biometric passports is highly desired
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Proficient in using hand tools, multimeters, and other testing equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and wiring diagrams
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must have a valid work permit for Bulgaria (for non-Bulgarian applicants)
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. The salary for this role is 1400$ per month. This position may require working on weekends or during evenings depending on production needs. Women are encouraged to apply for this position.
