Machine Operator


We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Akron. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to produce high-quality products according to specifications. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, drills, and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine machine settings
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products are produced according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Meet production quotas while maintaining high standards of quality

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with operating various machines such as lathes, mills, drills, and grinders
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent dexterity skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects or issues quickly


Salary: $1000 per month
